I assisted my son on his eagle project, about 8 years ago, where we built one of these sandboxes for the QuaintCorners Children’s museum.

It was using a projector (Benq, I think) and the bulbs are very expensive… so, with the latest bulb shuting off every 30 minutes they purchased a new,lower cost projector.

My question,(sorry for all of the background), as I see that the newer version of the sandbox works better with projectors that are not in the 4:3 aspect ratio… (We can not change the aspect ratio on the new projector). Is there a software upgrade process or would I have to dump and reinstall the whole system? I would hope to avoid that as it was a pretty long process to get it running correctly with all of the settings.

I am familiar with linux; have used it for years and wrote my own investment firms software that runs on linux, so upgrades don’t ‘scare’ me, but I would like to get the box up and running again in the most time efficient manner.
