We went through all the steps From the UC Davis https://web.cs.ucdavis.edu/~okreylos/ResDev/SARndbox/Instructions.html

When we run the AR software, the contour lines do not match up with the sand elevations. We also are not getting any colors. We do see contour lines and everything is black and white but the contour lines do not seem to match the elevation levels of the sand. Help?

Make sure you are using -uhm with SARndbox to enable elevation color mapping.

You can also use SARndbox -h to see which file the sandbox will use for colors. Find “Default elevation color map file name” in the help output and verify the file shown on that line is located at the given path and that the file is readable (i.e. proper permisisons).

If the contour lines seem in the wrong places on the sand, then calibrate the sandbox, again, with CalibrateProjector.

We see the colors now. The contour lines still do not seem correct. I have recalibrated numerous times but still do not get good results with the contour lines. I have tried being very precise by putting the calibration target on a roll of tape and aligning it exactly with the white crosshairs. I have noticed that after going through a calibration cycle that the red crosshairs are so-so with matching the target; maybe 1 to 5 cm off. How can I get better results?

I switched Kinects and was able to get a good calibration and it works now!
